Incisive Decides to let Danny Ride Out
A couple days ago there was a big uproar in SEO/SEM community that I am a part of. The news broke that Danny Sullivan, dubbed, The Grandfather of Search was leaving Incisive Media.

For those that don't know Incisive Media bought Search Engine Watch and Search Engine Strategies. Basically, the most authoritive Seach Engine News site and the biggest SEO/SEM conference there is.

For all intensive purposes the reason why either SEW and SES existed was because of the hardwork that Danny did. I have only met Danny briefly in chat and in person, but I will miss his input and reporting on SEW. I do feel that he will be back doing something similar in the near future, we'll just have to see. :)

To all the Midwesterners that come and visit the site and don't really know why I would spend my time writing a long(er) post about Danny Sullivan let me link you over to Reaction from the Search Community on Danny Sullivan's Departure, which is an article over at Search Engine Roundtable. It has a list, some 100+ posts of reactions from some of the biggest names in the industry.

So, I say Good Luck Danny on all your future endeavors. :)
